Brief introduction of vegetable seed oil refinery equipment

1. Vegetable seed oil refinery equipment is used for removing the impurities of oil, such as, fatty acid, phosphatide, metal ion, pigment, oxide, solid particle and volatile gas. It suitable for refining various crude oil, such as sunflower seed oil, vegetable oil , peanut oil, tea seed oil, groundnut oil, mustard seed oil ,cottonseed oil, rice bran oil, soybean oil, corn germ oil and palm oil,etc.

2.Vegetable seed oil refinery equipment can adopt chemical refining and physical refining, and the chemical refining includes batch refining, semi-continuous refining and continuous refining.

Main process of vegetable seed oil refinery equipment

Vegetable oil refinery plant usually includes the following sections: Degumming, Neutralization, Bleaching, Deodorization and Dewaxing, For dewaxing , it is usually widely used in sunflower oil, rice bran oil . corn germ oil .For fractionation , It is used in palm oil .

Degumming process : For Oil Refinery Line, we first remove solubility impurity in the crude oil is degumming. Because phospholipid in a great part of solubility impurity in the crude oil.In industry, degumming also calls get rid of phospholipid. Before alkali refining, remove solubility impurity is a very useful way, it can reduce loss in the oil, increase oil quanlity, save alkali, and phospholipid can be got.

Neutralization process : The crude oil is pumped to Neutralizer from oil mill or storage tank & first it is treated with weak solution of phosphoric acid or other suitable degumming agent for removing gums. Neutralizer is used remove the Free Fatty Acids (FFA) by adding caustic soda. Oil is heated up to about 60°C by heating coils and oil is stirred by the stirrer. The chemical reaction between free fatty acid and caustic soda forms the soap stock. This soap stock is allowed to settle down in the neutralizer from where it is collected into the soap pans. The oil is then washed with hot water to remove traces of soap particles and free alkali.

Decolorization process: oil bleaching is carried out before deodorization in an edible oil refinery. The process removes color, as well as residual phosphatides, metals and soaps. To do this, clay is added to the oil then heated, upon which it absorbs pigmentation. Lastly, the oil-clay mixture is filtered and the spent cake is dried to remove the oil./ Clay adsorb the color pigments . the clay is filtered and the clean bleached oil is stored for further process

Deodorization process: The deodorization process removes odor from the oil to improve the quality and self-life of the oil. The clean bleached oil is heated in the deodorizer to remove all the odiferous material such as phenols, ketones, tocopherols, aldehydes etc. The oil is heated in the deodorizer above 110°C through thermic fluid coils and then live steam is given to the oil from the bottom steam nozzles and temperature of oil is raised up to 200 to 220°C through thermic fluid coils. Entire process is done under high 50T/D canola seed oil refinery ,rapeseed oil refinery ,rap seed oil refining machine with cooking oil. Thus smell is removed from the oil in the deodorizer.

Dewaxing process is carried out for Sunflower and Rice Bran Oil as they contain waxes compared to other oil. This wax is removed by the dewaxing process. The oils are subjected to winterization process. The oil is first processed in the crystallizer where it is cooled by chilled water circulation. Low temperature results in the formation of crystals which are removed in the filtration process
