What is the crude oil refinery ?

Oil refinery plant refers to a series of refining processes that can remove phospholipids, FFA, pigment, off-flavor and other impurities in the oil. Edible oil refinery or vegetable oil refinery is essential to ensure removal of gums, waxes, phosphatides and free fatty acid (F. F.A.) from the oil. To impart uniform colur by removal of coloring pigments and to get rid of unpleasant smell from the oil by removal of odiferous matter.

There’re two refining technologies in oil refinery plant, one is batch, the other is continuous. Normally we adopt batch type when the capacity is less than 20MTPD, otherwise, we adopt semi-continuous or continuous technology.

Main process of crude oil plant

(1) Refining section:to P-acid de-gumming, alkali refining de-acid and water rinsing.

(2) Decoloring section:to remove off pigments, bleaching oils and grease dehydrate.

(3) Deodorizing section: to remove off the odor components in oil.

(4) Dewax: used to remove off the wax in the oil, in order to get the high quality oil.

(5) Heattransfer oil stove: supply each device production needing heat energy, temperature reach above 280 degree

(6) Steam generator: produce the needing steam for deodor and distillation.
