Generally, there are two ways of the process sunflower seed oil, one is the press way, the other is extraction way.

And for the Press way, it usually has below steps: Cleaning--crushing--softening--flaking--pressing--refining line.

And for the Extraction way, it has below steps: pretreatment process--extraction--refining.

Rotocel extractor

is using oil extraction method and choosing an organic solvent which can dissolve oil, after contacting with pretreated oil--spray or immersion, so that oil can be extracted. As the boliling point of solvent and oil are different, after evaporation and stripping, the solvent are evaporating and we can get crude oil.

Loop type extractor.

adopts a chain-drive system, it is suitable for the prepressing and extraction of high content oil and the direst extraction of low content oil. Like the rotocel extractor, the structure of loop type extractor is designed to reduce power consumption, maintenance requirements and noise.

1.Degumming: Removing the phosphate by adding hot water, when phosphate meets hot water, it will become bigger and bigger, then out of tanks.
2.Deacidification: Remove the FFA by add caustic soda (for taking neutrallzation reaction).
3.Decolorization: Remove the pgment by adding bleaching earth and the remaining bleaching earth will be filtrated by leaf filter.
4.Deodorization: Remove the oxide, solid particle and volatide gas.
