Softening section is applicable for oilseeds with low oil content or low moisture oilseeds such as soybean or rapeseeds. Direct flaking without softening section might produce large amount of powder. Low moisture rapeseed needs softening before flaking during rapeseed oil pressing process. However, users should be taken into cautious during softening process of high oil content oilseeds such as peanuts.
AdvantagesThrough the regulation of oilseed’s temperature and moisture, the oilseed has a suitable elastic-plastic, which will reduce the degree of powder and stick-on-roller phenomenon, ensure the quality of the flakes. When flaking, softened oilseed can also reduce pressure roller wear and machinery vibration, so as to help the normal flaking operation.
