In general ,Before oil refinery ,Raw material(sunflower seed, soybean, peanut ,palm ,rubber seed, cotton seed , rapeseed, olive ,coconut ,rice bran ,corn gern,castor seed ect, ) need pretreatment palnt ,solvent extraction plant . Then ,You refine crude oil and get 1 grade oil ,2grade oil

Cotton seed oil pretreatment Plant

1.Cleaning: In order to obtain high effective cleaning, ensure good work condition and production stability, high efficient vibration screen was used in the process to separate big and small impurity. Suction type gravity stoner removing machine was applied to remove the shoulder stone and earth, and magnetic separation equipment without power and exhaust system were used to remove iron.Dust removing wind net is installed.

2.Hulling processing : In this section, the cotton seeds shell will be broken and separated from its kernels. Thus the rate of hull in kernels will be less than 10%. After screening, the seeds will be moved to the hulling machine,

3.Kernel and shell separation : after hulling, the kernels will be moved into separator, where the kernels will be moved in flat vibrating screenand remove shell of kernel, and the shells are moved into classifying screen, thus the shell is separated from the kernel ,make sure the rate of kernel in shells will be less than 0.5%

Fraking : Flaking is to make raw material to 0.3mm slice . Oil of raw material can be extracted quickly in the solvent extraction plant . the residue oil in the cake will be less than 1%

4.Steaming/frying: It is to adjust the moisture and temperature of flakes, So that flakes will be easy to extract oil

Pressing process : After cooker ,the flakes are moved into screw oil press, about 50% oil will be extracted ,the cake thickness is less than 17mm .the residue oil is less than 14-18%, the cake will be moved to solvent extraction workshop

Filtering process: The crude oil from oil press includes many impurities, Which needs to be separated by scraper ,and oil settling tank . Then should be filtered again in leaf filter .Then the impurities in oil will be less than 0.2%

Oil cake Solvent extraction plant

1.Solvent pumps: continuously spray solvent to the rotary-type extractor

2.Roary extractor: Spray and soak the prepressed cake with solvent so that oil fats can be disolved in solvent(form miscella). After processing, you can get wet meal and miscella (mixed oil)t wet meal

3. DTDC: usd to separate the solvent from the wet meal.

Miscella tank 1st: pump the miscella (oil with solvent) in to the miscella 1st , then add saline water to it. The phospholipid in the miscella will react with the saline water, at last the reactant precipitate, reaching the goal of purifying.

4. Miscella tank 2nd: the purified miscella will be pumped into it.

5.Condensers: to cooling the solvent gas separated from the wet meal and miscella for recycling

Cotton Oil refinery plant

Oil refinery plant refers to a series of refining processes that can remove phospholipids, FFA, pigment, off-flavor and other impurities in the oil. Edible oil refinery or vegetable oil refinery is essential to ensure removal of gums, waxes, phosphatides and free fatty acid (F. F.A.) from the oil. To impart uniform colur by removal of coloring pigments and to get rid of unpleasant smell from the oil by removal of odiferous matter

1. Crude Oil Degumming: In this step gums in crude oil are removed by hydration with the help of phosphoric acid.
2. Neutralization: In this step free fatty acids are neutralized by using sodium hydroxide and convert them into soap. Additional impurities are also removed by adsorption on soap.
3. Bleaching: During bleaching, unwanted pigments are adsorbed physically and oil will become much clearer.
4. Deodorization: Deodorization is used to remove unacceptable odors by steam distillation, the odoriferous compound are stripped off with the help of live injected steam into heated oil under high cotton seed oil refinery equipment /oil extraction plant equipment with 30T/D capacity pressure.
5. Dewaxing (necessary for cold areas)
Some kinds of oil like sunflower, maize germ or corn oil have waxes inside, if these impurities are not removed, the oil will freeze easily under low temperature, thus effecting oil quality and appearance. so this process is necessary in extremely cold areas.
